Create A Wi-Fi Hotspot Without Any Router_ Just Using Your Laptop or Desktop!

In this tutorial I’ll show you How do you can turn your laptop or desktop internet connection into a Wi-Fi hotspot even you don’t have a wireless router using a WLAN hotspot creator.

Hack any LAN or Wi-Fi Connected Computer Using 'Cain & Abel' Sniffer Tool!

Do you know what you are typing when using internet is passing through the same network that someone else using! So, he can easily hack your information using some kind of network sniffing software and analyzer. Now doesn’t matter this is Wi-Fi or LAN.

Hack user information by sniffing network is a very popular hacking technique since then. Hackers call this technique ‘Man in Middle Attack’.

What you can get by sniffing a network?

Tools to be used to sniff a network:

1. Cain & Abel

3. Wireshark Network Analyzer

How to Start Sniffing a Network:

Step 1: First of all find your won IP, Mac, DNS info etc from this direction: ctrl+r > cmd > ipconfig/all.

Step 2: Install Cain & Able and open the program. Click start sniffer icon and select your network adapter.

Step 3: Click start sniffer icon to active sniffer and right click from anywhere in the blank space then click Scan Mac Address. You have started getting IP and Mac addresses from your network.

Step 4: To select your targeted IP click Add button and select your gateway from left and targeted IP from right.

Step 5: Now start poisoning your targeted IP by clicking this following button. Once you start this tool you should started getting your targeted computer data as some individual packets and every packets will have some user data information. Packets would be likely 5-10 Mb.

Step 6: Install and open Wireshark Network Analyzer to break the packets and find the information in plain text.

Note: In this process ‘Namp’ is an optional tool. It will give you extra advantage if you use it to find Host names or Mac address from a LAN.

How To Hack Any Wi-Fi Network Connection To Get Password Using ComView & Aircreak-Ng!

Using free internet from a password protected and any WEP WPA WPA-PSK secured WiFi network of your neighbor is not a bad idea at all! Because they won’t share passwords if you ask for it. In this case the only way is hack or creak their Wi-Fi network connection  and get unauthorized access to use unlimited free internet.

:: Read Our Linux Backtrack Wi-Fi Hacking Tutorial ::

Almost every hotspots are WEP secured out there. WPA & WPA-PSK are also available but only some people use this type of connection. So in this tutorial I will show you how do you can hack/creak any kind of WEP WPA WPA2 secured Wi-Fi hotspot network connection using a free Wi-Fi creaking tool that called ComView Wi-Fi program.

This software works with windows xp, windows seven and may be later on. In this tutorial I am using windows 7. If you are using a different operating system, no problem. 

You can use virtual box or Linux users can read out this tutorial on How to hack Wi-Fi using Linux Backtrack.

This is a updated Wi-Fi hacking tutorial of my previous tutorial using ComView. You can read my previous tutorial from here.

Tools to be used in this process:

1. ComView For Wi-Fi

ComView is a packet sniping tool. It captured packets transmitting through Wi-Fi network signal. Every packets has some information about your victims hotspot.

So, as much as your packets will be captured, the percentage of your getting password will be increased. An estimated packets limit to get all possible information is about 10000.

Normally it could take up to 2-5 hrs to complete capturing those packets depending your hotspot signal strength and speed. Captured packets will be stored in .ncp format. 

2. Aircrack-Ng GUI

Using this program we will convert our captured .ncp packets into .cap file.

Note: please make sure you are using this computer as Administrator to install both software.

Let’s Begin To Hack:
In the first part of this tutorial I'll show you how to hack WEP and in second part WRA & WPA-PSK will be shown.

Part 1: WEP

Step 1: Install ComView in VoIP or Standard mode. Remember this software will not connect you to any Wi-Fi network. It’s just a tool to gain password. Once you get hotspot password, then you know how to use it.

Step 2: Open ComViwe program and this window will appear. Click Play icon. New window will be opened.

Step 3: Click following button to start network scanning.

Step 4: Now you can see your available hotspot names. Select which one you want to hack. And click Capture button. Please be sure that your selected network is a WEP connection.

Step 5: Program has started capturing your network information.

Step 6: To save the captured packets, navigate to Setting> Option>Memory Usage. Change Maximum Packets in buffer to 20000.

Step 7: Go to logging tab and enable Auto Saving. Set Maximum directory to 2000 and Log file size to 20. ComView will now automatically store captured .ncp packets to your located directory.

As comview has started auto storing, you will see a lots of captured packets are stored on the saving directory folder. You should need to compile those individual .ncp packets into a single .ncp file.

To compile: Go to CONCATENATE LOGS… Using Logging tab.

Now we will convert that .ncp file into .cap file using Aircreak-Ng.

1. Click on File->Log Viewer->Load Commview Logs-> Choose the .ncf file.

2. Now File->Export->Wireshark/TCP dump format .

Now the Final part:

Open AirCrack folder>Bin> Aircrack-ng GUI.exe. put the .cp file in GUI Location and press some next button. Done!

Now you will see the whole information about your targeted network. How much bandwidth are using this network, usernames, password, etc.

Part 2: WPA &WPA2

Just two more simple steps will be added with those previous steps shown in part one.

1. Open Aircreak-Ng GUI.

1. Select WPA insted of WEP when you are revealing password from .cap file.and put \test\password.lst in wordlist field.

How to Make a Wireless Network Secure

Is someone stealing network? As the owner of a wireless network you want to protect it from the hackers and freeloaders. read this post and go ahead. In this short paper, we're going to go through 5 steps to secure a home wireless network.

1.   Login to your wireless router

a)  If you've never logged into your wireless router, look up the make and model of the router, and find the     default IP Address, username, and password, then login.

b)  For example, if your wireless router has a default IP Address of 192.168.1.1, default username of admin, and default password of blank. Login by doing the following:

1. Open Internet Explorer and type in the address  http://192.168.1.1
2. When prompted, the username would be admin, and the password would be blank.

c)   If the router's password is still set to the default password, it is important to change this password to something else to keep an intruder from effectively kicking you off of your own network.

2.   Enable MAC Filtering

This is probably the easiest way to keep intruders off of your wireless network although the least secure. You can enable a White-list of MAC Addresses and then only the MAC Addresses that you specifically put into this list will be able to use your Wireless. You'll have to remember this if a friend comes over

and tries to use your wireless network.

3.   Enable Encryption

It's important to use encryption on your wireless network.  Not only does it keep intruders off of the network, it also keeps eavesdroppers from listening in on your network traffic. The two major types of wireless encryption are listed below.  Please also note that any encryption enabled on the wireless router must also be enabled on each Wireless Device that needs to connect to the internet.

a)   WEP – This is still the most common type of encryption enabled on most wireless routers.  Please note that this can be broken by serious hackers in about 2 minutes, but will keep out most neighbors and passerby's.

b)   WPA2 – This is becoming the most common type of encryption and is enabled on most new wireless routers.  WPA2 is much more secure than WEP and has not been compromised yet, but is not available on some older types of Wireless Devices.

Deciding between WPA2, WEP, or MAC Filtering

WPA2 Encryption is the most secure method for keeping intruders off your network. If you have older devices that will not support WPA2, WEP is encouraged.

If you are unsure how to setup encryption, MAC filtering is least secure, but easiest to setup.

4.   Disable SSID Broadcasting

This option decides whether people can or can not see your wireless signal. This is not necessarily recommended because although this will keep your network invisible to the common nosy neighbor, it will not protect your network from any serious hackers. It can also make setting up your own devices on your wireless network more difficult.  So, it's good to know how this works, but always use encryption

and don't rely on just disabling SSID broadcasts to keep your network secure.

5.   Install Who's On My WiFi

Download and Install Who Is On My Wifi Software onto a desktop computer that is always on at your home or office. Who's On My Wifi acts as a detection engine by scanning your network every few minutes to see if anyone has gotten onto your network.  People could get in by breaking WEP encryption, faking through a MAC Filter, somehow breaking WPA2, or by good old fashioned hard line plugging into your router directly instead of connecting through the wireless.  Monitoring for intruders is the final step in securing a Wireless Network.

How To Hack/Creak Wi-Fi Hotspot Password Using Linux Backtrack!

Dear TopOne visitor, This is gonna be the most easiest Wi-Fi hacking tutorial that you have ever seen or found out there!

This tutorial will show you how to easily Hack, Bypass or Creak any WEP/WPA/WPA2 Wi-Fi hotspot password using Linux Backtrack program and It will take you only 10 very easy steps to follow and you are done.

Previously I have posted 2 Wi-Fi hacking methods using ComView For WiFi and Beinin iso. you may have look on those tutorials, it could make your job easy to creak any WiFi connection.

Using Linux backtrack you can easily hack or steal your neighbor Wi-Fi internet password and use his/her internet connection without paying any internet bill.

:: Hack Wi-Fi Using WiFiSlax v4.2 Live Boot .iso ::

You should have to have:

1. A configured wireless router/WLAN card installed on your PC.

2. VMware Workstation.

3. Backtrack

Now Follow This Steps:

Step 1: Run VMware and open Backtrack iso.

Step 2: Open Shell Consol after start Backtrack.

Step 3: Type airmon-ng and hit enter. It will show you interface, chipset, driver, etc.

Step 4: Type airodump-ng wlan0 and hit enter. Wait a while when it is searching for available connections.

Step 5: You can see a list. Chose a hotspot name you want to hack.

Step 6: Copy the ch value of your selected connection. Then type airdump-ng-c and past ch value just after this. Next to the ch value type –bssid space your bssid number and -w wep_hack wlan0 and press enter.

(Example:  airdump-ng-c ch value –bssid 00:1F:9F:73:C0:45 -w wep_hack wlan0)

Step 7: Wait and do not close the window.

Step 8: If this window has finished then open a new shell console and type dir and hit enter.

Step 9: Type aircrack-ng -a 1 –b and your bssid.

(example: aircrack-ng -a 1 -b 00:1F:9F:73:C0:45 wep_hack-01.cpp)

Step 10: If you have seen this text decrypted correctly 100%, it means you have successfully done this process.

Now you can see you desired Wi-Fi password just above this massage.

Step By Step How to Configure/Install Wireless Router

It is very regular that you are confused about how to set up and configure your brand new wireless router at your home or office! In this case you can call an expert but it will cost you some money. Or read this step by step tutorial with screenshot about How to set and configure up a wireless router.

By reading this article there shouldn’t be any more confusion about setup & configuring your wireless router.

Here I am showing a complete process of how to set up and configure a wireless router based on windows operating system. It will be very similar process if you are using a Linux or Mac pc.

Previously I have posted some very elaborated step by step tutorial on Wi-Fi and wireless networking. You may have a look on those article. It could be useful in some way for you to understand this article clearly.

:::Wi-Fi Set Up, Hacking & Tricks:::

Step 1: Resetting

=>  Connect the power cord
=> Unplug ALL Ethernet connections
=>  Hold down the reset button for at least 15 seconds

Step 2: Cable Setup

=> Connect your computer (PC or MAC) to any one of the LAN ports, only
=>  Connect the Internet (WAN) Port to ResNet

Step 3: Accessing Router

=> Open Internet Explorer (with the computer connected to the Router)
=> Enter 192.168.1.1 into the Address Bar, push Enter
=> Leave the User Name field blank
=> Under the password field enter “admin”
=> Click “OK”

Step 4: Default Screen

Step 5: Setting a Password

=> Click “Administration”
=> Enter a desired password into the “Router Password” field
=> Click “Save Settings”

Step 6: Configure Wireless SSID

=> Click “Wireless”
=>  Click “Basic Wireless Settings”
=> Enter a desired name into the “Wireless Network Name (SSID)” field
=> Write down your Wireless Network SSID, it will be used for later.
=> Click “Save Settings”

Step 7: Configure Wireless WEP Security Key

=> Click “Wireless”
=> Click “Wireless Security”
=> Select “WEP” in the “Security Mode” field
=> Bubble “1” under the “Default Transmit Key” field
=> Select “128 bits 26 hex digits”
=> Enter a desired passphrase into the “Passphrase” field
=> Click “Generate”
=> Carefully write down the code generated in the “Key 1” field on paper, and store it in a safe place. THIS IS YOUR WEP KEY, it will be needed later on.
=> Click “Save Settings”

Step 8: Final Cable Setup

Note:  Connecting a Windows Computer Through Wireless!

Step 9: Go To Control Panel

=> Click on the Start Menu, and click on Control Panel.

Step 10: Switch to Classic View

Step 11: Go to Network Connections

=> Find and double-click “Network Connections” to open up the list of connections that your computer users to connect to the internet.

Step 12: Network Connections

=> Right click “Wireless Network Connection” and select “Properties”.

Step 13: Wireless Network Connection Properties

=> Go to the “Wireless Networks” Tab

Step 14: Adding a Wireless Profile

=> Check “Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings”, if it isn't already.
=> Click “Add” to add a wireless profile.

Step 15: Making a Profile

=> Enter in the Network name (SSID). (It was your desired SSID from Step 6 ).
=> Uncheck the box “The key is provided for me automatically”.
=> Put in the “Key 1” code from Step 7 into “Network key” and “Confirm network key”.
=> Push “OK” .

Note: Screenshots were taken using linksys wireless router setup guide. But you can apply those steps to Blink or any other routers as usual without any confusion.

Turn Your Mobile Phone Into A Wi-Fi Hotspot

Use your mobile phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot router and use it to share mobile internet with other devices through wi-fi. From today your mobile handset will be your virtual WiFi hotspot and a WiFi hotspot will be always with you wherever you go.

This is no matter to use internet if you are using more then one PC, laptops, or mobile devices. it's now just a matter of some few steps! just go on and read this post.

In Some of my previous post I show u How to Turn a laptop or desktop PC into a Wi-Fi hotspot. But in this post I m going to show you How do u can use your Nokia Symbian phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot and use its active internet connection through your other Wi-Fi enabled devices like laptop, desktop or mobile etc.

Many people use more than one PC, laptop or mobile phone to use internet or browse websites at their home or office. But no one use more than one connection to use it into those multiple devices. Some people use  LAN (Local Area Network) method.

But days are getting modern and modern tech lovers are start using WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network). This type of people use Wi-Fi to multiply their internet connection. 

So..The main topics was, How to turn a mobile phone into a wireless hotspot and use it to other devices. To make it happen, u have to have:

1. A Nokia or Sony Ericson Mobile Phone (Search Google to see the supported models)

2. Active Internet Connection on Your Mobile.

3. And Finally The "Joikuspot Premium" Mobile Application.

Now Follow This Steps:

Step 1: Install Joikuspot Premium into your phone and restart your phone after installation.

Step 2: Open the application, it will ask you "Allow Sharing Your Internet Connection With External Devices?". Select ‘No’.

Step 3: Go to ‘Option’ menu and select your internet access point to share connection.

Step 4: Press ‘Start’ and it will start sharing your connection through Wi-Fi within a moment.

Step 5: Now search from any other Wi-Fi enabled device to find and use this mobile Wi-Fi hotspot.

Happy internet using.. you can monitor your Wi-Fi activity in this tab.

If you want to stop network sharing you can press stop button any time to stop hotspot sharing.
